Purple Up! Jefferson County Schools Supports military kids

Jefferson County Schools showed support for our military kids and their families by wearing Purple on April 26th.  Our military kids and their families make incredible sacrifices every day. They give up precious time with their loved ones to serve and protect our country. JCHS Diane Wice and LaTonya Daniels greeted everyone with purple on April 26th to support our military families. Thank you!

Jefferson County Schools staff wellness 5K Walk/Run held on April 6, 2024 at Panther Creek State Park was a hugh success. Jefferson County High Schools Track & Field team, Cross Country Team, and coaches made this event a hugh success with lots of cheering and encouagement for our amazing staff! 

Gold Star Status

The Safe Stars Initiative recognizes youth sports leagues throughout Tennessee for providing the highest level of safety for their young athletes. Safe Stars consists of 3 levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, and involves implementation of policies around topics such as concussion education, weather safety and injury prevention.  Jefferson County Schools has received Gold Status, the highest level of safety for student athletes, thanks to Gaines Cox, Athletic Director, Dan Jurek, Athletic Trainer, and Randy Rodgers, Jefferson County High School principal.
